Swarm Protocol 1.3
Tap bugs, not text.

Swarm Protocol 1.3 makes phone play cleaner and the scoreboard easier to reach. Tapping letters no longer starts a text selection mid-round. Swarm Protocol is the defense game where bugs eat a real page's letters into binary and drain its buttons. Squash them before the interface falls apart.

What's new for players

On phones and other touch devices, page text selection and touch callouts switch off while a round runs. Tap a bug next to a word and you hit the bug.

Form fields and editable content stay selectable. Pausing, ending the round or Recall brings normal selection back.

The scoreboard uses the same action icons as the other games. Pause, sound and close stay reachable even when the scoreboard is minimized.

Sounds, palette and behavior are unchanged. The swarm still bites, grows and hunts the same way.

For developers

The selection lock is the shared DOM VIRUS one. Swarm keeps its own established engine.
